Join us for an art-making workshop at the Berkeley Art Studio! We offer 2 hour long private classes taught by professional instructors, all materials included. Browse our selection of offerings below.
Ceramics Workshop
The 2 hour activity includes a full demonstration by our instructor on how to hand-build your own cup from slabs of clay and then plenty of time to make your own ceramic piece. It’s a fun, relaxing workshop that’s also great for beginners!

- UCB Group Affiliated Price: $500 flat fee
- Non-UCB Affiliated Price: $600 flat fee
Additional notes:
- Because we want you to take home a fully finished piece of artwork, the ceramics will need to be fired twice and glazed by our technicians. This process can take 4-6 weeks.
Screenprinting Workshop
The 2 hour workshop includes a complete tutorial of how the print-making process works, then you and your party will get to screen print your own posters & tote bags. Send us an image of what you would like to print and then print your own custom piece!

- UCB Group Affiliated Price: $500 flat fee
- Non-UCB Affiliated Price: $550 flat fee
Additional notes:
- Please send us a 300 dpi black & white file, preferably a transparent png of the image you would like printed.
- Your group is welcome to print on T-shirts! Your party is responsible for providing them.

How do I pay for a workshop?
Payment is due one-week in advance of the workshop date. You may pay via Credit Card, CalLink PO, or IOC (UCB chartstring).
When can I schedule a workshop?
We custom schedule group activities based on instructor availability and your date & time preferences. Scheduling requests must be sent at least 2 weeks in advance of the desired date.
Can I bring food and drinks?
You may bring food and beverages for your party to share, but you must also bring your own plates, cups, and cutlery.
I participated in a ceramics workshop, how soon will I get my piece back?
We will email you when your pieces are ready for pick-up. It usually takes 4-6 weeks for your group’s work to be full fired and ready to take home.
