Gift certificates can be applied to any Berkeley Art Studio class or workshop enrollment. Please see the Instructions for how to apply gift certificate funds to a course registration. Note: If you are a UC Berkeley student using a gift certificate, please contact artstudio@berkeley.edu before enrolling.

Yes, we can make a gift certificate worth any value. Some people like to make gift certificates for the exact cost of a class. Please email artstudio@berkeley.edu if you are interested in this option.
Subscribing to our newsletter is the best way to find out when future classes will be posted. Winter & Spring classes are posted in late November. Early Fall & Late Fall Classes are posted in mid-July. Summer registration is typically posted in late April.
No, gift certificates can only be used for Berkeley Art Studio classes and workshops.
No, students are responsible for providing their own materials unless otherwise stated in the course description.
Yes, in the event that a gift certificate does not cover the total value of the class, the enrollee will be prompted to pay the remaining balance via Credit Card.
If there are leftover funds after registering for a class, the remaining gift certificate balance will stay in your account. This credit can be used for future enrollment.
If you would like to cancel your gift certificate purchase, you will receive a refund minus a $35 fee. Please email artstudio@berkeley.edu to process this request.
You can transfer your registration to a different available class or workshop in the same session to avoid the cancellation fee.
No, discounts cannot be applied to gift certificate purchases.
