Cityscape Drawing – Spring

Capture the essence of place in a cityscape drawing. This course focuses on drawing environmental objects first, people, cars, motorcycles, then moves into broader environments. Students will learn light theory, atmospheric perspective, single and two point perspective and how to construct environments. Working from life and photographs, you'll gain tools to create vibrant scenes that tell a story. This class is open to all levels.

  • 9”x12" pad of hot-press watercolor paper
  • 9”x12"  Vellum or tracing paper.
  • Graphite transfer paper
  • Tombow pencils -HB - 6B
  • Clear Tombow Dual Brush Pen
  • Paper Blending Stumps
  • Large & small eraser pen, flat eraser, kneaded eraser
  • Micron pen set
  • Sandpaper sharpening block
  • Sumi ink 2
  • Flat brush, round brush and detail brush(more lies more betta)
  • Drawing board with clips (18x24)
  • Artist tape.
  • 12” clear ruler
  • French curve (Optional)
