Our team opened this new studio, called “Berkeley Art Studio West,” to the public on September 3, 2024, and it remains accessible to students at UC Berkeley and the greater Bay Area community. This facility operates in conjunction with the existing Art Studio built in 1961. We now have two main studios for members to enjoy!

Quick Facts about Berkeley Art Studio West: 

• Anyone can take classes in Berkeley Art Studio West! Community members, Cal faculty/staff/alumni, and UC Berkeley students are all welcome to enjoy courses in the new facility.
• This facility is on the 2nd level of  the Helen Diller Anchor House and is located at 1950 Oxford Street, Berkeley CA 94704.
• Hours of Operation will be: Monday – Friday: 12pm-9pm, Saturday – Sunday: 12pm-5pm
• Printmaking, crafting & textile arts, and several drawing and painting classes are held in this location. 
• The original Berkeley Art Studio facility (in the Student Union) continues to hold ceramics and darkroom photography art-making classes.
