Dana Davis makes photographs to discover novel views of the world. His work includes grand and intimate landscapes, studio work with the nude and small, human dramas played out in thrift store plastic bags. He has studied at Phoenix Community College and received a BFA from Arizona State University and MFA from Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, NY. Along with producing and exhibiting his fine art, Dana teaches part time at Contra Costa College and the Berkeley Art Studio in the San Francisco Bay Area. He also maintains an active commercial photo practice.
