Watercolor & Pen Fundamentals

Learn the basics of watercolor and pen drawing in this intermediate class. Topics explored will include pen textures, hatching and cross hatching, inventive line quality, gradation in ink, and expression in individual style. We will experiment with watercolor as a simple way to enhance a drawing and use it as a viable painting medium for any subject. By the end of the class, you’ll feel comfortable drawing anything under the sun!

  • 2 General’s Kimberly Drawing Pencil – HB
  • Sharpener – Double-Hole
  • Synthetic Watercolor Brush- Round 2 ,6,10 Princeton
  • M.Graham colors- Ultramarine Blue, Napthol Red, Azo Hansa Yellow, Sap Green, Chinese White, Burnt Umber, Raw Sienna
