Figure Drawing

Develop your observation skills and learn how to draw from a live model in our figure drawing class. This class will help you develop your understanding of proportion, action, line sensitivity, and the illusion of volume. Each class will start with short poses by a nude model (15 sec -10 min) and transition to longer ones (20 min-1 hour).

  • Vine Charcoal-Soft
  • Compressed Charcoal Sticks (Charkoal)
  • Charcoal Pencils 2b 4b 6b 
  • White Charcoal Pencil
  • Kneaded Eraser
  • Pencil Sharpener
  • 18×24 drawing board

The Inkstone on 2424 Telegraph near the UC Berkeley campus will have some drawing kits available. Please contact them directly to inquire about in-store pick-up.
