Portraits in Red Chalk

Explore the beauty of red chalk while you learn the basics of portrait drawing from life. Formal demonstrations will lead to ample sketching time of various portraits. You will improve your observational drawing skills by understanding the fundamentals of structure/volume, anatomy, gesture/expression and tonal values with drawing human face. Some drawing experience is helpful, but not necessary. Both beginners and more advanced students are welcomed.
