This 7 week course will offer an approachable introduction into sketching and painting from live and photographic subjects. The class will primarily focus on watercolor fundamentals with an added emphasis in pen sketching.

Materials List:

• Watercolors ( Daniel Smith or Cotman brand)
  • Colors: gamboge, alizarin crimson, prussian blue, viridian, burnt umber, burnt sienna, Indigo
• Fluid brand 9x12 Watercolor block cold press
• 1 inch flat, 10, 4, 2 round brushes
• 12 well palette
• 2 hb pencils
• small kneaded eraser
• 2 micron pens, size 05
• cup for water
