This workshop introduces the exciting medium of silver clay, a pliable metal clay consisting of microscopic particles of silver suspended in an organic binder to create a soft, moldable material. Demonstrations will include hand forming and sculpting smaller scale pieces, technical firing processes, and refining and polishing at the end. Students will each get 20 grams of silver clay to create charms, rings, or beads made of genuine silver.
