This class covers all the fundamentals of quilting, but with a fun, mysterious twist! Each week students will build parts of their quilt & follow clues step-by-step. However, the final outcome and appearance of the pattern won't be discovered to the very end! Weekly lessons will include:
General direction on fabric choices
Cutting techniques
Piecing & sewing direction
Beginner to Intermediate sewing students welcome.

Materials List:
Students will create a 4 fabric quilt. All fabric should be quilters cotton.

- Focal or Feature Fabric - ¾ yard (all other fabric should work around this central fabric. This fabric can be a fairly large print - one that would show up in 8” squares. This fabric should not be directional (a clear up and down pattern).
- Background - 1 ½ yards (This can be a solid (tone on tone) or an interesting print that works with and plays a supporting role to your focal fabric)
- Coordinate A - ½ yard (Should blend closely with the focal fabric -- the tone should be similar to the focal fabric)
- Coordinate B - ½ yard (Should blend closely with the focal fabric -- the tone should be similar to the focal fabric)
