Jewelry Making Workshop

Register for class
In this three-week course students will be introduced to the basics in making jewelry: bead stringing and wire-working. You’ll finish the course with a solid foundation in basic techniques that can lead you to multiple variations and advanced jewelry pieces.
Materials and tools required for class: Students may bring their own stringing project or
purchase the necessary materials in advance:
· beading wire, Beadalon or Soft flex medium, or fine for smaller beads, are both good choices, at least 24” for a standard-length necklace, 12” for a bracelet
· beads
· spacers or 8/0 or 11/0 seed beads to be placed between your beads, (optional)
· 2x2mm crimp tubes—at least 2
· 4mm crimp covers—at least 2
· jump rings, 5-6mm—2-4
· Clasp
· bead stoppers –2 (optional)
Tools will be available for use during class.
