Register for class
Develop your observation skills and learn how to draw from a live model in our figure drawing class. This class will help you develop your understanding of proportion, action, line sensitivity, and the illusion of volume. Each class will start with short poses by a nude model (2 -10 min) and transition to longer ones (20 min).

Materials List:
- 18” x 24” Newsprint pad
- Graphite Drawing Pencils - HB, 2B, 4B, 6B* and/or Charcoal Drawing Pencils - HB, 2B, 4B, 6B*
- Compressed charcoal sticks(soft/medium) and/or vine charcoal sticks(soft/medium)*
- Kneaded eraser
- Xacto knife/razor for sharpening
- 18” x 24” drawing board
Optional:
- 18”x 24” drawing pad Canson recycled sketch paper pad series or similar (for longer drawings)
- Brush pens
- Soft pastels
- White charcoal pencil
- Pencil sharpener
- Sandpaper sharpening block
- Blending stumps
*if you already have a preference between these you don’t need both, but if you’d like to try them out this is a good chance to compare a variety of drawing tools
