Watercolor Workshop: Birds of California – W

In this 3-hour workshop, students will use watercolors to paint various California birds! Color mixing, blending, brush textures, and paint layering will be discussed. All levels are welcome.

Materials List:

• Watercolors ( Daniel Smith or Cotman brand
  • Colors: yellow ochre, burnt sienna, alizarin crimson, prussian blue, gamboge
• 9x12 Watercolor block cold press ( arches or fluid watercolor brand)
• 1/2 inch flat, 10, 4, 2 round brushes
  12 well palette
  2 hb pencils
  small kneaded eraser
• cup for water
