Intermediate Knitting: Sweater – LF

In this class we'll workshop knitting patterns to develop your own unique sweater design by starting from a gauge swatch or altering an existing pattern considering texture, color, image, pattern, and shape.
Skills developed: knitting a gauge swatch in the round, altering patterns, working with proportions and percentages to create a knitted garment, and converting an image to a chart.
Prerequisite Skills: Cast on, bind off, knit, purl, knit in the round, seam, read a pattern, read a chart, increase, decrease, gauge swatch, blocking, and correct common mistakes.
Materials:
Materials will be dependent on your project. Please bring pens and pencils (physical or digital), any inspiration images, and ideas that you have either drawn/written in a notebook or on a computer to the first session.
