Explore the versatile technique of transforming basic pinch pots into create spectacular forms! In this 4 week workshop you will apply this handbuilding technique to create a variety of small, functional pots. This class is open to all students, including those with no previous pottery experience.
Day 1: Learn the technique of making pinch pots and make bowls and a box.
Day 2: Add finishing touches to your pieces by adding slip, carving, or doing sgrafitto.
Day 3: Glazing your bisque fired pieces.
Clay, tools, and firings are provided in the workshop. There are no makeup classes.
