Workshop Spotlight: Modern Fiber Jewelry

Make your own jewelry in this one-day workshop! We’ll create jewelry such as earrings, necklaces and keychains with a fiber focus using a variety of materials and learn simple techniques for making tassels, pom poms, and knots. We’ll take inspiration from contemporary and local fiber artists and look at how a variety of cultures use jewelry and textile in their daily lives. If you are interested in learning fun and accessible techniques for making your own jewelry with limited equipment, this is the workshop for you. No experience required.

Materials fee to be paid to the instructor at the start of the workshop. Fee will be approximately $30.
