Bookbinding:This is a fundamental bookbinding class. We cover the basic elements of bookbinding, various adhesive and non-adhesive techniques, and how to materialize ideas into an artist book form. Lectures, demonstrations and in class studio time are part of the learning process. The class begins with simple bookbinding excercises and progress to constructing complex structures. Students are expected to create a final project that culminates the materials covered in class.
Materials List: Xacto Knife, Ruler, Awl (optional), Decorative paper, More papers of your choice.
