Sewing for Beginners: This class is for people with little or no sewing experience. We cover all the basic: how a sewing maching works and how to use them, types of fabric and choosing the right fabric for a project, how to choose and understand patterns, how to cut patterns and basic alterations. Each student chooses a basic project (skirt, bag, etc.) and works on that during the class meetings.Though we have a few machines for use at the studio, students are highly encouraged to bring in their own sewing machines for this class. You can store your sewing machine at the studio for the duration of your class.
Beginning Sewing – Tammy Berlin
Mondays 6:30-9:30pm 5 weeks starting November 2

Intermediate Sewing: This class is for people how have had some sewing experience. Each student chooses a basic project (skirt, bag, etc.) and works on that during the class meetings. More advanced techniques are covered in this course.Though we have a few machines for use at the studio, students are highly encouraged to bring in their own sewing machines for this class. You can store your sewing machine at the studio for the duration of your class.
